Basco's Classic semi-frameless glass shower doors enhance the appearance of any bathroom with bypass shower panels free from aluminum framing. Both 3/16 inch glass panels move within the enclosure, with one panel including a pull handle for one edge of the glass and the other panel having a towel bar that wraps around the panel. All Basco shower enclosures are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and moderate DIY Skills are recommended for installation.

To ensure the water stays in the shower, it is advised to place the interior panel closest to the shower head. Before measuring for your shower door, make sure your measurements are precise and the finished wall material is in place. The header and rail will be shipped long and will need to be cut to size during installation.

The tools required for installation include a tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill, 7/64 inch, 1/8 inch, and 1/4 inch drill bits, a #2 Phillips screwdriver, a 3/16 inch wrench, a sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone is recommended). Optional tools include a miter box for cutting parts to length, files, a center punch, and masking tape.

The overall unit is 65.5 inches tall, and the glass panels measure 22 inches wide, allowing for some out-of-plumb wall conditions and out-of-level conditions. The unit can be installed for left or right entry, and the walk-through area will vary between 15.81-19.81 inches wide. The curb width is 1.56 inches wide and is designed to repel water in the shower.
