The membrane ships folded, and depending on the size of the kit, you will receive one or two boxes (glue/membrane). It's crucial to remove the membrane from the box as soon as possible and place it on the clean roof of the unit. Do not allow the membrane to touch the ground or any dirty surface, and avoid contact with sharp objects or surfaces.

The membrane can be installed with either side facing the glue. classAcustoms Water Base Adhesive is designed to bond EPDM, PVC, TPO, and Hypalon to various substrates such as wood fiberboard, plywood, EPS, polyisocyanurate insulation, gypsum, and concrete. This adhesive grows stronger and adheres more with age, and it's best suited for installation in air temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius). The coverage rate is 160-200 square feet per gallon, and it can be applied by spray, roll coating, or brush.

classAcustoms Self-Leveling Silicone Caulk is formulated to provide excellent weather resistance and good adhesion to a variety of substrates. The kit includes 5 tubes of this caulk, each 10.1 fl oz, in a white color. Additionally, the kit includes 4 rolls of Putty Tape, which is a non-hardening, pliable tape used to waterproof overlapping metal seams.

The classAcustoms PVC RV Roofing Membrane Kit is 35 feet long by 9.5 feet wide, with the membrane being 28 mils thick and smooth on both sides. It's recommended to get a length that is longer or wider than your unit due to possible curve of the roof, raised or lowered areas, as removing the excess is much better than not having enough.
