RV Rubber Roof Membrane Kit for Camper Trailer

The classAcustoms Single-Ply PVC RV Roofing Membrane Kit is 15 feet long by 8.5 feet wide. The PVC membrane is 28mils thick and smooth on both sides, with a white color. It is recommended to get a length that is longer or wider than your unit to account for possible curved, raised, or lowered areas on the roof. The kit includes 4 tubes of classAcustoms Self-Leveling Silicone Caulk in white, 10.1 fl oz tubes. This all-weather self-leveling sealant provides excellent weather resistance and good adhesion to a variety of substrates.

Additionally, the kit includes 2 rolls of butyl tape, measuring 1/8" thick x 3/4" wide x 30' long, in an off-white color. The non-hardening, pliable putty tape is designed to provide a strong seal. The kit also contains 1 gallon of classAcustoms Acrylic Water-Based Adhesive in white, with a coverage of 160-200 sq ft/gal. This adhesive may be applied by spray, roll coating, or by brush.

The membrane is shipped folded and may be either one or two boxes, depending on the size of the kit (glue/membrane). It is important to remove the membrane from the box as soon as possible onto the clean roof of the unit, avoiding contact with the ground, dirty surfaces, or sharp objects. The membrane may be installed with either side facing the glue, and is best installed in air temperatures over 50 deg F (10 deg C). The classAcustoms Adhesive is a fast-drying, water-based acrylic adhesive.

It is recommended that the smoothest side of the membrane is installed facing down, to provide better traction when walking on wet or damp roofs.
