The newest technology in RV roofing is classAcustoms EPDM Single-Ply Membrane. Our single-ply EPDM is white all the way through, with no black backer that can separate later in life. Its high level of strength, durability, and resistance to UV rays make it a natural choice for RV roofs.

When it comes to installation, the membrane ships folded, and you'll receive one or two boxes (glue/membrane) depending on the size of the kit. It's crucial to remove the membrane from the box as soon as possible and lay it out on the clean roof of the unit. Avoid allowing the membrane to touch the ground or any dirty surfaces, and keep it away from sharp objects or surfaces.

The membrane can be installed with either side facing the glue, but it's typically installed with the smooth side down. classAcustoms Water Base Adhesive is designed to bond EPDM, PVC, TPO, and Hypalon to various substrates, including wood fiberboard, plywood, EPS, polyisocyanurate insulation, gypsum, and concrete. This adhesive grows stronger and adheres more with age, and it's best when installed in air temperatures above 50°F (10°C). The coverage rate is 160-200 sq ft/gal (1 side @ 8-10 mil), and it can be applied by spray, roll coating, or brush.

classAcustoms Self-Leveling Silicone Caulk is designed and formulated to provide excellent weather resistance and good adhesion to a variety of substrates. Putty tape is a non-hardening, pliable putty tape that waterproofs overlapping metal seams. It's important to use all products before the expiration date and to avoid allowing them to freeze.

The classAcustoms Single-Ply EPDM RV Roofing Membrane Kit includes a 25-foot-long by 9.5-foot-wide membrane that is 32 mils / 0.8mm thick, with smooth and textured/patterned sides in a white color throughout. It's recommended to get a length that is longer/wider than your unit due to possible roof curvature, raised or lowered areas, and it's better to remove the excess than not have enough.

The kit also includes 4 tubes of classAcustoms Self-Leveling Silicone Caulk, 2 rolls of Putty Tape (1/8" Thick x 3/4" W x 30' L) in a gray color, and 1 gallon of Acrylic Rubber Roof Adhesive (Water Based).

It's important to note that the item ships folded in a box, and it's recommended to remove it from the box as soon as you receive it, lay it flat, and allow it to "relax" for several hours before installing, as this will help the temporary creases caused by folding to come out as the item "rests".
