Precise measurements and finished wall materials are essential before measuring for the shower door. The header and rail will be shipped in a longer length, requiring cutting to size during installation.

The necessary tools for installation include a tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill, 7/64 inch, 1/8 inch, and 1/4 inch drill bits, a #2 Philips screwdriver, a 3/16 inch wrench, a sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone recommended). Optional tools include a miter box for cutting parts to length, files, a center punch, and masking tape.
