The classAcustoms EPDM Single-Ply Membrane is the latest technology in RV roofing. Our single-ply EPDM is white all the way through, without any black backer that could separate over time. Its high strength, durability, and resistance to UV rays make it a natural choice for RV roofs. The membrane ships folded, so depending on the size of the kit, you will receive one or two boxes (containing the glue and membrane). It is crucial to remove the membrane from the box as soon as possible and lay it out on the clean roof of the unit. DO NOT allow the membrane to touch the ground or any dirty surface, nor should it come into contact with sharp objects or surfaces. The membrane can be installed with either side facing the glue, but it is typically installed with the smooth side down.

The classAcustoms Water Base Adhesive grows stronger and adheres more effectively with age. It is designed to bond EPDM, PVC, TPO, and Hypalon to a variety of substrates, including wood fiberboard, plywood, EPS, polyisocyanurate insulation, gypsum, and concrete. This fast-drying adhesive performs best when installed in air temperatures above 50°F (10°C). The coverage rate is 160-200 sq ft/gal (1 side @ 8-10 mil) and can be applied by spray, roll coating, or brush.

The classAcustoms Self-Leveling Silicone Caulk is formulated to provide excellent weather resistance and good adhesion to a variety of substrates. The KIT also includes 4 rolls of Putty Tape, a non-hardening, pliable putty tape that waterproofs overlapping metal seams, and 2 gallons of Acrylic Rubber Roof Adhesive (Water Based).

It is essential to use all products before the expiration date and to ensure they do not freeze. The classAcustoms Single-Ply EPDM RV Roofing Membrane Kit includes a 30-foot-long by 8.5-foot-wide membrane that is 32 mils / 0.8mm thick, with both smooth and textured/patterned sides in a white color throughout. It is recommended to select a length that is longer or wider than your unit to accommodate any curvature of the roof, raised or lowered areas, as it is much better to have excess than not enough.

When the kit arrives, it is shipped folded in a box. It is crucial to remove the membrane from the box as soon as possible, lay it flat, and allow it to "relax" for several hours before installation. This will help the temporary creases caused by folding to come out as the item rests.
